What do you do? Graduate student in organic chemistry. What is an average training week? 12-16 hours. Why do you enjoy what you do so much? I love training and to push myself. I have always been involved with sport from hiking/rockclimbing/canyonning/skiing/etc… in the Alps with my family to competitive swimming and eventually triathlon. It is where I feel comfortable, where I live my passion, and where I can release stress. What are your goals? Place Top 5 amateur and Top 3 F25-29 at Clearwater 70.3, but most importantly to give everything and go for personal best. To qualify for ITU LD World Championship in 2009. Most significant achievement? Receiving my master of science in organic chemistry this August. Qualifying for the ITU LD World Championship in 2007 and for 70.3 World Championship in Clearwater in 2007 and 2008. Placing 2nd F20-24 and 11th amateur female at both World Championships in 2007. Most exciting event or adventure? Watching the Nice triathlon when I was younger, and seeing Mark Allen ran to the win, while Frenchman Yves Cordier finished 2nd. I never ever thought I would race a triathlon at that time, for me I would only be a swimmer, but it was very exciting to watch! Riding part of the tour de France especially the climb up to the col du Galibier prior the Tour. In general, riding through the Alps, beautiful scenery and great food to recover =) Greatest indulgence? Chocolate, and my breakfast treat: bread and butter. Thoughts on Jaggad apparel? Stylish, comfortable, great customer service. Final Words? Design your life, live your dreams, and have no regrets.
