From:
Launceston, Tasmania
Discipline :
Triathlon                                    Goals Career: Would like to run sub 3.30 Marathon and would like to go 10 hours for an Ironman Triathlon before turning 40.              Favourite Race :
Up until last year Forster, but after Busselton 2007 have definitely found my favourite place to race.                                       Best Attribute :
Am committed to finishing what I set out to do.                           Best Discipline :
Cycling - by far my greatest strength.                            Favourite Garment :
Tri Suit – you just put in on and forget about it – amazingly simple and comfortable.                        Favourite web site : I like Transitions and also enjoy browsing for new information on many different websites.

What do you do? House Master at a large Independent School in Tasmania.

What is an average training week? 15 to 20 hours.

Why do you enjoy what you do so much? I like feeling fit and also find I have so much more energy when training to spend with my family.

What are your goals? I want to run a flat faster marathon, complete 10 Ironman Triathlons and write a book.

Most significant achievement? Last year I lost 60kg and went from potential heart attack candidate to Ironman finisher – for me this has been the greatest achievement alongside being a father.

Most exciting event or adventure? Most exciting adventure has been a combination of travel and experiencing being a parent – a constant adventure!

Greatest indulgence? Chocolate and toys for my bike.

Thoughts on Jaggad apparel? Fantastic equipment – well made, well designed, great to compete in.

Final words? I’m going to cheat and use a quote I have stuck next to my desk, “It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that.” Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
