| What do you do? If I am not training, I am working. But I do occasionally make it out on my boat for some wakeboarding and fun in the sun. What is an average training week? My average training week consists of swimming 5000 meters, biking 100 miles and running 30 miles. I also work in about 2 hours of strength training each week. Why do you enjoy what you do so much? As you get further in life (a nice way of saying older) you start to look for reasons to exercise. Triathlons and time trials give me goals to work towards. Making the training more meaningful and keeping in shape all at the same time. What are your goals? My goals are to balance my work, life and training. And to be the kind of person my dog thinks I am. Most significant achievement? Certainly, one of them has to be completing my first triathlon. Most exciting event or adventure? I rode down the side of the Haleakala Volcano in Maui, Hawaii with my good friend Will. I'm not talking about the mass of people dressed in yellow rain suits all riding down the road. I am talking down the side of the volcano on a mountain bike. It was scary and breathtaking all at the same time as you descend from what looks like the moon, through clouds, eventually into the tree line and ending at the base. What a trip! Greatest indulgence? Swedish Fish Thoughts on Jaggad apparel? I love the style and performance of the Jaggad gear. I want my gear to perform well in races and look good. Jaggad gives me both and more! Final Words? Train hard. Live hard. Love hard.
