Wellington, New Zealand.
Discipline :
Duathlon.                               Pro or Age group :
Age Group.                           Goals Career:                          Top 10 in age group at World Duathlon Champs, 2008. Complete Ironman NZ in 2009. Favourite Race :             Scorching series in Wellington, battling either a southerly or northerly every time surely has to make you stronger.                Best Attribute :                        Determination and the fact that I will never cut a minute or meter off a training session.             Best Discipline :
Cycling.                          Favourite Garment :                 Knicker shorts - you can actually ride in these for hours without discomfort, the best chamois ever! Would recommend them to anyone, and they're a great between-season garment too. Favourite web site :             stuff.co.nz, ironman.co.nz

What do you do? Events & Business Development Coordinator (sporting events).

What is an average training week? 12 - 20hrs, obviously depending on the phase and what races I'm training for.

Why do you enjoy what you do so much? I love to push myself beyond my limits, and am always up for a new challenge. It's also a really sociable sport which makes it just the best, it's so good to know there are heaps of other crazy people out there that love to punish their bodies too!

What are your goals? Would love another top 10 at World Duathlon Champs this year, but also to complete my first Ironman in March 2009, I don't have a goal time in mind at the moment - will see how things pan out first.

Most significant achievement? 9th World Duathlon Champs 2007.

Greatest indulgence? Anything sweet, particularly if it has caramel in it.

Thoughts on Jaggad apparel? Fantastic quality and vibrant colours which make you stand out from the crowd.

Final Words? If you're not out there training somebody else is, so push through the downtimes and you'll come out better off - that's what makes a winner.
