From:
Penticton, BC, Canada.
Discipline :
Triathlon                                  Goals Career:                         Qualify for the Hawaii Ironman.
Continue to improve my running splits. Top 10 finishes.
Favourite Race :
Ironman Canada.                   Best Attribute :                      Determination.                        Best Discipline :
Varies…swimming/cycling.  Favourite Garment :                   ¾ Capri cycling pants. They kept me super warm, comfy and stylish during our Canadian early season training.                                 Favourite web site :     www.weathernetwork.com to check the weather for training!
What do you do? Physical Therapist.

What is an average training week?                           Depends on work and the training phase, 13-20 hours/week. Mixture of swimming, Vasa trainer, cycling, running and the odd Ashtanga Yoga / Pilates class.

Why do you enjoy what you do so much? I love the daily challenges and setting personal goals.  I thrive on knowing that I have done more kilometers/activity by the end of the day than many people have done by the end of the week. As well, I am surrounded by fantastic and inspiring people. What better way can there be to get out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors that we live in and explore other cities / countries.

Most significant achievement? Being able to somehow manage working full time (+), train and still have time for my best 4-legged buddy Henry, friends and family.

Most exciting event or adventure? Life is always an adventure. The Canadian Death Race was an adventure running through kilometers of trails in the dark; however, nothing beats the rush you feel hearing the cannon go off at your first Ironman…

Greatest indulgence? Tickleberry Ice cream and the odd sleep in…

Thoughts on Jaggad apparel? I am very excited to be involved with a company that is very stylish and progressive in its technical clothing line, taking into consideration the full needs of athletes while training, pre/post race activities, racing and just participating in life.

Final Words? You don’t know, unless you try…
