| What do you do? Joint-owner of Jaggad, property development & investment
Why do you enjoy cycling so much? I like everything about cycling from tinkering with the bikes to blasting through the National Parks on two wheels. I also really value the friendships I have made with other cyclists – they are all such fit, motivated people.
 How often do you ride? Typically I ride 4-6 days / 200 - 400km a week.
Favourite Ride: Old Pacific Hwy north of Sydney (Berowra to Gosford) – this ride has a great mixture of terrain, great views and not much traffic…. perfect
Started Racing: I started cycle racing in 2001 and compete in 6-10 races a year. Prior to that I competed in triathlon for a couple of years and when I was a teenager I raced BMX bikes.
Most significant cycling achievement? 2nd place in my first ever road race at Calga (just north of Sydney)
Most exciting cycling event or adventure? When I was 16 I rode from Sydney to Canberra & back with a mate. I rode a classic old 10 speed Bennett racing bike that is an antique. We rode with toe clips, sand shoes, shorts and tee shirts…. madness!
Favourite Garment and why: Jaggad One Cyclesuit because they fit so well, are so comfortable and seem to last forever. |
