| What do you do? Information Technology What is an average training week? 10,000m swimming, 115 miles of biking, and 18-20 miles of running Why do you enjoy what you do so much? With all the demands on my time, triathlon training is the time I get to focus on myself. I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when I complete training and racing. What are your goals? My goals are to always improve all three sports. One of the best things of being an age grouper is that there is always room for improvement. Most exciting event or adventure? The berryman adventure racing in 2003. I love running through the woods with a compass and map. It’s a challenge to maintain a steady pace, while keeping your wits around enough to plan the route. Most significant achievement? I am not sure it qualifies as an achievement, but after my microdiscectomy I am recovering well. Usually I would push myself too hard and hinder my recovery. After this surgery, I have followed a plan and recovered slowly, but more consistently. Thoughts on Jaggad? Jaggad is an amazing company. The clothes fit well and the company seems to care what their customers think. Few companies allow regular people an opportunity to help with the direction of their product. Favourite Jaggad Garment and Why: The Iron Tri Suit is my favorite Jaggad garment. It feels like a second skin. In addition, it looks and feels fast. Final words? I’m on the road to recovery. After my back surgery in March, I have almost fully recovered. The Muncie Endurathon ½ IM distance will be my return to triathlon and I cant wait!
