What do you do? Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor on No. 3 Paintline at Port Kembla steelworks (we make Colorbond steel for fences, roofs, garage doors etc) What is an average training week? Minimum 20hrs a week Why do you enjoy what you do so much? The rush you get from all the endorphins, when you have had a great race. What are your goals? To enjoy triathlon and the quality of life it provides. Race every race to the best of my ability. Most exciting event or adventure? Competing in my first Half Ironman at Geelong 70.3 and gaining a place to go to Clearwater Florida to compete in the World 70.3 World Championships in 2009. Most significant achievement? Completing my first Half Ironman in 5hrs. Thoughts on Jaggad? I find the Jaggad gear to be made to a high standard, and really comfortable. I also think there are great colours and a diverse range of gear for racing, as well as some great casual gear. Favourite Jaggad Garment and Why: My favourite combo for racing is the Sprint Shorts (6014) blue/red and Speed Jersey (2018) red/blue. They look great and are very comfortable. Also friends say I stand out in the crowd when racing. Favourite training gear for winter is my new Interval ¾ cyclesuit with my vision jersey and arm warmers. The chamois in the ¾ cyclesuit is one of the most comfortable I have ever used and minimises soreness from those long rides on chilly mornings. The Phoenix Reverse Jersey was the reason I became Team Jaggad member, I just had to have one. It definitely looks the goods. Final words? I am grateful that Jaggad has given me the opportunity to be part of their Team Jaggad Development Team. I look forward to being an integral part of the team.
