What
types of activities do you think this garment would be good for? Triathlon,
cycling
Comments on fit & style: I have a “medium” build at 5’9” and
165 lbs. The medium tri suit fits me exactly the way I hope. The fit was tight
but not constrictive, giving me the full range of motion for swimming, cycling
and running. The legs are a good length, slightly shorter than cycling shorts,
and offered a compression effect on my hamstrings and quadriceps muscles. The
styling was also unique, making it easy to spot in a crowd of people.
Comments on fabric: I felt that there were three unique parts to the suit. Overall, the nylon spandex created a great fit for the suit, hugging every inch of my body, creating a sleek garment that slices through the water during the swim and through the air on the bike. The mesh back and pockets also fit extremely well, and created welcome ventilation as my body temperature increased. Finally, the end banding on the legs with the Jaggad logo kept the suit firmly in place on my legs, never riding up. Overall, the right material in the right places.
Summary: Those who like to race in a tri suit should really give this one a look. It has it all in terms of fit, function and styling. The two rear pocket coupled with a pocket on each leg keeps all my nutrition items easily accessible. The fit of the suit is perfect…tight but not constrictive. The breathable rear mesh and the long front zipper keep me from getting overheated during an intense race. The suit’s legs are snugger that some other suits I have worn, but the fit had a compression effect that I welcomed as fatigue sets in during longer events. In short, this is a high quality well made garment suitable for anyone who want first rate performance.

Main Purpose of Testing: To test if this tri suit is as good as I have heard
Testing Conditions: Summer 75-85 Degrees Fahrenheit; Rain
What types of activities do you think this garment would be good for? The Iron Tri suit is ideal for triathlons.
Comments on fit & style:
The fit was great, Some tri suits rub you in different places, where the fit
of the fabric doesn’t quite match your body style. This did not rub
at all throughout my half iron distance race. The green tri suit also stands
out in a crowd. During my last race I saw another person wearing the same
suit and we could easily identify each other amongst all the athletes. This
is due to the sleek and colorful design of the clothes.
Comments on fabric:
The material did a great job wicking sweat away. The material feels smooth,
and does not feel grimy when it gets dirty and sweaty. During the half iron
triathlon I recently wore it in, it was constantly pouring rain. The fabric
still felt dry, and did not retain water at all.
Comments on chamois: The Iron Tri Suit comes with the 4-Ways Chamois sewn in. This is one of the best parts of the iron tri suit. Most tri suits I have worn in the past have way too thick of a chamois. Not only does it make you look like you are wearing a diaper, but it rubs you raw. It also is extremely uncomfortable on the run. The Chamois the 4-Ways Chamois is thick enough to offer some padding, but not so large as to retain water, or get in the way. When I wear the iron tri suit I barely know its there!
Summary:
The Muncie Endurathon was my first race this year, and I wore this iron tri
suit. It felt like I was racing without clothes on. The suit did not rub
, there was plenty of ventilation due to the mesh back. Also, I fell in love
with the pockets on the outside of my thighs. During the bike it made grabbing
gel easy. I am not a great bike handler, and in the rain I did not even want
to let go of my handlebars to get a gel. With the gel on my legs instead
of my back it was much easier to grab it without risking falling over and
making a mess all over the pavement.
I have always been a fan of tri suits, especially during longer races as I
don’t like to have to worry about changing clothes, or getting sun burns
between the top and bottom clothes on my lower back. Obviously with a tri suit
there is usually a tradeoff. For me, this is weird rubbing along my armpit
or inner thighs where the chamois rubs. With the iron tri suit there was no
rubbing, and it worked great. I will definitely use this tri suit in future
races.

What types of activities do you think this garment would be good for? Triathlons from half IM up to ultraman.
Please provide your review of this garment: To me this is the ultimate in one piece suits for long course triathlon. The fit is perfect the fabric is 1st class and it is very easy to be in the suit from 8-17 hours. The rear and side pockets are useful for holding your race day nutrition and goodies.

What types of activities do you think this garment would be good for? Racing; both short and long course.
Overall: This suit will meet every need whether racing long or short course triathlons. Knowing that I had a suit that I could use all day long without issue at Ironman Canada was a great reassurance. Often times a race suit will stretch out throughout the course of the day, but the Iron Suit held its integrity from start to finish. It is equally comfortable to use while riding and running. Truly a great suit to choose for your next key race.
My first race of the year was last Sunday in Mankato, MN. A sprint tri put together by campus rec (directed by Jen Myers) there is a lot of things I would like to mention and I’ll start with the fact that triathlon racing started 1 year ago with the same race that is starting in 2009. The distances are as follows (Swim 800 yards, Bike 14.5 miles, Run 3.8 miles).
During my race I used the Iron Tri Suit, it was the first time I raced with it and honestly is was very comfortable. The pockets on the sides are helpful, especially when I had to reach for energy gels during the bike portion, it is very difficult to reach my back while riding a time trial bike since I’m not a cyclist and my skills are very limited, making that reach to my back to get anything it is dangerous, thumbs up for the side pockets.
The mesh on the back is great, provided enough ventilation and cooled me off during the run; the front zipper was very easy to use. I liked having the option of using or not using the chamois, since for a sprint the chamois are not need it, but for a longer race (half or full iron) they will be need it. Overall I’m very pleased with the suit.
After the season debut with the Iron Tri Suit it was time to use it again at the Land Between The Lake race in Albertlea MN, and just like my first race I was very pleased with the suit. It is comfortable, and right now the plan is to keep using it for the rest of the season.
I raced the Chicago Triathlon in the Iron tri suit.
It felt good during the race prep and did not stretch or pull on anything that it shouldn’t have. The external leg grippers really help as they allow for your legs to feel supported by moving freely. During the swim I wore it under my wet suit. It dried quickly, allowing me to bike dry. While in the aero position I could feel air rushing down the suit cooling my chest. At this point I was stunned by how well it managed the climate. During the run I became hot and poured water into the suit. Here I was surprised again as the suit wicked the moisture away from my body but maintained on the outside. The suit felt as cool as I made it.
What types of activities do you think this garment would be good for? Any length triathlon and training.
Comments on fabric: The suit feels great to put on, very soft but strong, I sometimes train in it underneath a windbreaker vest as I love the feel/rear pockets (no bounce being one piece suit when you have them loaded up) and also the side pockets in the leg become very handy.
Comments on fit/style: Suit fits me so so well, great support through leg, first time in one piece and very comfortable to wear.
Overall: Iron Tri suit fits feels amazing, is very light and breathable and can be worn for racing or training. The extra leg pockets come in very handy as does the GRC pad on my long rides. I find this suit to be very versatile and also looks great.
What types of activities do you think this garment would be good for? The IRON TRI SUIT is ideal for long training days and Race days. The side and rear pockets for gels and tabs are really handy and the leg fit is a really good fit for triathletes.
Overall: The IRON TRI SUIT is the most comfortable race suit I have used. The 4-Ways Chamois that is sewn into suit is great. The style of the suit is modern and the range of colours is enough for all tastes. I really like the bright green and so does my family so they can pick me out in races. Lastly the side pockets are a great innovation for your gels or bits and pieces.
As of this point, I have used the iron tri suit for numerous workouts, and
2 olympic distance races.
The iron tri suit is a great suit. It fits me very well (I ordered a large).
It is snug in all the right places, but is not too tight. I really like the
side pockets, they are great for holding gels. It feels very good in the water.
It feels great on the bike. I have used it on very warm days, and have not had
to unzip the front to cool off. To me, that means that the fabric and venting
works well, as in those conditions I would normally have to unzip my top.
All in all, I love the suit. I am using it again for my first ever half- ironman
on September 28th. For the two races I have used it in, I came in 2nd in my
age group in both. The two races were Fall Creek Falls olympic and Music City
Triathlon, both in Tennesee. The upcoming half- Iron is the Atomic Man in Oak
Ridge Tennessee.
Comments on fit/style: This is by far the best-looking suit on the market. The front design shows the chest, the side-graphics are slimming & sleek and my wife says the rear lower-section frames things nicely. It’s very sporty & functional.
Overall: The design of the suit is simply outstanding; the top allows all strokes of swimming with no irritation to the skin. The rear pocket is very handy and the fabric has a nice breathing sensation on the bike & run. I like the flexibility of using the Grip Removable Chamois and the external leg-gripper is very comfortable for the duration. The front zipper is also very convenient, a top-quality suit!
I wore the Iron Tri Suit for the Atlantic Coast Triathlon and it was PERFECT as always. It is breathable but allows for enough support to feel like you are getting some help in your legs. The pockets hold enough food and gear for the distance. I don’t know of another suit on the market that does this distance or a full distance race this well.
Race Name: ACT & Clermont Half
Pre-Race Preparation: I decided to run my own tests for Jaggad iron suit and
competitor suit. I wanted to make sure that the Jaggad clothing that I had used
and recommended to people passed my own stamp of approval.
So, two Half IM 3 weeks apart, same prep, same race strategy.
Race Day: Both races were wetsuit legal and both heat conditions were very similar. Perfect for my testing procedure. Sustained effort levels equal so I could definitely compare. Lets put it this way, the compression legs were phenomenal on the Jaggad Iron suit. My legs felt as if I hadn’t even ridden when I reached T2. The leg pouches kept all gels and supplements that I needed. My recovery was so minimal that I ran 3 days later with no ill effect of the race on my legs. I owe it to the suit compression which added in the race and recovery. The competitor suit provided no such support and recovery time was substantially longer.
Jaggad Gear Performance: I am sold on the Jaggad products and can proudly boast to other competitors the benefits and reasons why I wear Jaggad.
Summary: Jaggad suits are superior, I can personally attest.
Ironman 70.3 World Championships 2008: I wore The Iron Tri Suit at the Ironman World Championship 70.3 and it was fantastic! Beyond comfortable, with a whole lot of function and equal parts style thrown in for good measure. Once I put the suit on, I didn’t have to worry about it the rest of the day: no adjustments needed, the legs didn’t ride up(love the external leg grippers), the fabric breathes well and I even used the leg pockets to carry a gel or two. I will definitely use the Iron Tri Suit next season. Another top notch piece of gear from Jaggad.
